The Luminophile – Creator of Luminous Artworks

Light as a raw emotion

I am the Luminophile.
For years, I have been exploring light, not as a tool, but as a living, emotional matter.

Light changes everything.
It can soothe, unsettle, or awaken.
It shapes our perception of space, of time, of ourselves.

What began as artistic lighting pieces has become a deeper dialogue:
I now try to sculpt light itself, to give it form, movement, and sometimes even a soul.

My luminous boxes are sculptures of light – unique works at the crossroads of art, craft, and contemporary design.

A journey shaped by light

Before becoming an artist, I worked nights in cardiac intensive care.
There, light was cold, clinical, impersonal.
And yet, in that sterile environment, I discovered its other side:
light that warms, that calms, that almost heals.

That revelation became my calling —
to reveal light’s emotional power through objects that carry silence and life within them.

Contemporary luminous art is not technology. It is poetry of light — fragile and vibrant.

Objects with a soul

Each Luminophilia piece is handcrafted, numbered, and unique.
Porcelain, brass, glass, resin or wood — every material enters into dialogue with light and transforms it in its own way.

These are not functional lamps.
They do not decorate, they live.
They are fragments of luminous poetry, meant to be contemplated, collected, and placed like treasures within a space.

I try to find the soul of light, so that it may honor us with its presence.

Between tradition and modernity

From fire and stained glass to LEDs and digital reflections,
light has always accompanied human history.

My work stands between those two worlds:
heritage and technology,
hand and mind,
memory and future.

True luxury lies in time, and in the hand that shapes slowly.

Philosophy and process

Each piece begins with an intuition.
Then comes the drawing, the prototype, the doubt, the failure, and finally, the vibration I was seeking.

Creating light cannot be rushed.
It’s a patient craft, one that listens rather than imposes.

I try to create luminous presences, objects that move, surprise, soothe, or stay quietly in memory.

Luminophilia in brief

Luminophilia designs and crafts singular luminous objects at the crossroads of art, design, and fine craftsmanship.
Each creation is a luminous chamber where light can express itself freely.

Their purpose is not to brighten a space, but to offer a sensitive experience of light, an emotion to be contemplated rather than consumed.

Today and tomorrow

From Paris to Singapore, my luminous artworks now live in the homes of collectors and design lovers.

Tomorrow, my ambition remains the same:
to continue giving light a soul
and to create luminous presences that exist beyond function, trend, or time.

Any questions?

I’ll be glad to hear from you.
