Philosophy of Light and Creation
Why Light
Light is my raw material. It guides everything.
Light changes everything. It can awaken your home or shift your mood.
It is invisible, and yet nothing exists without it.
For me, light is not a tool. It is a raw, living, emotional matter.
My luminous boxes are sculptures of light — handcrafted at the crossroads of art, craft, and design.
Why Boxes
Not lamps. Luminous expression.
I do not make lamps. I attempt experiments with light.
Each case is a new way of seeing light — showing that it can be multiple, gentle or harsh, scarce or abundant, often generous.
They are not here to illuminate a room, but to reveal an emotion.
A box is a jewel, a fragment of poetry to place in your home.
These luminous objects are not lamps. They are contemporary works of art, made to be contemplated.
How They Are Born
Slowness as a form of luxury.
Each piece is crafted by hand, one by one — first a prototype, then critique, choices, and finally the concrete idea.
Wood, brass, porcelain, glass, plexiglass, resins — each material enters into dialogue with light and transforms it in its own way.
I spend hours designing, testing. Sometimes I fail, so I start again. Because an emotion cannot be rushed.
True luxury lies not in the price, but in the time and the gestures of the craftsman.
My Mission
To give light a soul.
My mission is to welcome light, to offer it a space where it can speak.
I set myself the task of showing its diversity. Creating pieces that do not simply shine, but express.
I seek to craft luminous presences — objects that surprise, move, soothe, unsettle, and remain in memory.
If you can see poetry in them, then my mission is fulfilled.
A luminous box does not just light up a room. It offers a sensitive experience of light.
Between Tradition and Modernity
A dialogue between heritage and technology.
Fire, candles, stained glass… then neon, LEDs, screens.
Light has always accompanied human history.
My work stands between tradition and modernity: noble materials shaped by hand, combined with today’s technologies.
We are memory and future at once — and light connects us to both.
I try to give light a soul, so that it becomes poetry and emotion.
For Whom
For those who seek more than objects.
My luminous boxes are not design pieces meant to decorate a wall.
They are for those who want to feel, to contemplate.
For those who see in light more than a function — an experience, a moment out of time.
Light is not consumed. It is contemplated — like a work of art, like a silent presence.
Luminophilia in brief
Luminophilia designs and crafts singular luminous objects, standing at the crossroads of sculpture, design, and fine craftsmanship.
Each piece is a luminous case, hand-shaped with materials chosen for their intimate dialogue with light: metal, porcelain, glass, wood, or contemporary resins.
These creations are not functional lights. They are luminous works of art, meant to be contemplated, collected, and placed in an interior as one would welcome a painting or a sculpture. Their purpose is not to brighten a space, but to offer a poetic, sensitive experience of light.
